Doggie Bliss

Just a few shots of moving day. This is before the movers came, and now the room the dogs are in–the office/craft room–is piled high with boxes. I have a LOT to do. But the dogs are content, and that’s what matters.

First visit and exploration.

Lots for Guinness and Margot to sniff.

Pollock comes over to play with Anime.

Pixie and Penny are not so sure about this and wait for Tim to come back.

Pollock wants to play outside.

Anime running with the big dogs!

Watch out Guinness, there’s a Pixie gaining on you.

Margot has no time for shenanigans.

  1. …now you just need a dog door for those sliders. 🙂
I CAN NOT WAIT until it’s warm enough to put ours in again and they can go in and out whenever they want.

      1. If it weren’t for the doggy door at my parents’ house, Molly would bark and bark and scratch at the windows to chase squirrels, birds, flashing lights in the sky, etc.

BTW, Molly is insanely jealous about the size of the yard. Michelle, however, would take her time but eventually be an Anime.

          1. It’s definitely not a squirrel door! Molly sees to that. She also treed a badger. She was sprayed by a skunk once, but I don’t think that will stop her from protecting “her” turf. The stray cats don’t come near the door either, they stay in the front yard, and if I mischievously let her out to the front, she completely ignores the stray cats and goes right after their poop. But, you may be right about the opossum. fortunately, so far, they haven’t seen any.

  2. Running dogs! They adjusted quickly! You have too many dogs around to be concerned about critters. They will get chased away. Remember how Gretta loved to chase ‘possums? And how she wanted to bring them inside when she caught one…

    1. It’s definitely bigger than what we had before–one of the features we were looking for when we house shopped. Bigger dogs need a bigger yard than we had. My petite seniors were fine, but Tim’s dogs deserved more.
