It’s great to see some of my little treasures back home.

Tiny Tuesday!
This actually is a very small watermelon, and it needs to be sliced and eaten. One of summer’s gifts.
Tiny Tuesday!
Anole glamour shot. This guy was so small I’m not even sure how I spotted him. Those are blades of grass magnified many times around him.
Tiny Tuesday!
Sometimes the work I do can be…challenging. I need to step away for a while and decompress. The dogs and I go outside, and I get to enjoy one of the reasons it’s good to be more than three years old.
Tiny Tuesday!
How many times have I cried out for a house elf on this blog? The Universe in its sardonic way has answered. Dobby’s adorable, but I’m not sure how much assistance he’ll be able to give.
Tiny Tuesday!
From The Tiny Book of Tiny Pleasures:
It’s full-on summer here, but I was happy when I opened the kitchen blinds this morning to discover the return of the ruellia on the replacement trellises. The greenery has been there, but today I saw the flowers for the first time.

Tiny Tuesday!
Tom found this little Louisville Cardinals patch on the street outside our house so I could spend a ridiculous amount of time wondering how it got there.
The lives and travels of “inanimate” objects are a part of Tom Robbins’s novel Skinny Legs and All. I haven’t reread any of his novels in a while, but I have recently been on a rereading Larry McMurtry kick. Back in the Cenozoic Age when I was deciding what to write my Masters thesis on, it was either going to be something to do with the novels of Tom Robbins or Larry McMurtry. Maybe I never wrote my thesis because I never could choose. Or maybe I just left graduate school to earn some money and get myself out of debt.
Still get to enjoy all the books anytime I please!
Now about this Cardinals patch…
Tiny Tuesday!
Not too long ago I shared this book on here, saying I wanted my own copy. It arrived, and sometimes I may use it, sometimes not, to start a new weekly feature on the blog, “Tiny Tuesdays!” This is for the little things that make me happy, and I’d love it if you used the theme on your own blog or Instagram (I mean, you could Facebook it, but I’d never see it, because I don’t Facebook). But I’d enjoy seeing the tiny good things of your world.
I wish I had a Barbie doll in my house right now to show you the scale of this. It’s too big to be a Barbie briefcase, and maybe a little too slender to be a Barbie suitcase, but I’ve long wanted to use it in a Model Muse photoshoot.
It was a gift from my mother many, many years ago. What is it?
Tiny but practical.
What’s tiny in your Tuesday?
