On our recent trip, our timing was damn near perfect as we crossed the Blackwater River in Mississippi and I was able to get this shot of the moon as the sun was setting. Of course, all I could think about was the Doobie Brothers lyric: “Old black water, keep on rolling, Mississippi moon, won’t you keep on shining on me…”
I love the moon and I love the natural beauty of my mother’s home state.
