It’s too bad I’ve had a busy few days. It would have been great to wander the streets of Montrose and shoot photos of some of the skillful Day of the Dead-inspired makeup jobs I’ve seen on people.

ETA: I misread the theme on the Photo Friday site. Apparently it is supposed to be “Falling Apart,” so my idea that the ducks are apart from the trees doesn’t compute. Possibly the only thing that’s falling apart is my ability to comprehend when exhausted.

Today I wondered: Might it be possible for me to be happy about something other than a dog? So I took my camera with me while I ran errands and meandered onto a couple of side streets away from my destinations. That’s when I discovered this, near St. Thomas University:
