Only one more day to go! Today’s theme from 30 Days of Creativity is “Blocks.”
The Ram directs the Six Merry Murderesses of the Cook County Jail as they sing “The Cell Block Tango” from the movie Chicago. Rumor has it that the shoot went so long that the Monsters sheared him. He had it coming.
Other Day 29 creations can be seen here.
Thanks to Lindsey for the movie idea and to Tom for the black duct tape that became “Wardrobe.”
Today’s entry really made me laugh! But the Ram didn’t deserve his shearing. I actually was supposed to go see Chicago on stage this evening at the Municipal Amphitheater in Forest Park, but considering today’s 106+ temp has been baking the seats of the open air theater all day with expectations of cooling to 101 by curtain time I have decided to opt out.
I think you made a wise choice. That’s TOO FREAKING HOT.
I’m glad it made you laugh. Thanks!
He had it comin!
First, I read the book that Chicago was based on, The Girls of Murder City. It’s all about Maurine Watkins who covered the trials of Beulah Annan and Belva Gaertner, it was so good !!!
Second, I cross stitched …Pop… Six…Squish…Uh Huh…Cicero…Lipschitz .. for my friend who is also a sassy girl reporter at the Chicago Trib, just like Maurine! Excellent !!!
Way to go Ram!
Thanks. I had a feeling today’s movie selection would meet with your macabre approval.
Black duct tape for wardrobe. Way to go, Tom and Becky!
Dolls are much more forgiving of such wardrobe inventions than people would be. Thanks!
