With four bonsai drawings, too! You and the Ram rule @ wax on / wax off!
However, as you mentioned in your creation, I can’t grow or trim bonsai. They all die immediately.
I always thought bonsai was akin to cruelty to plants.
I LOVE the jointed-ness of your doll.
What sort of doll is he?
(I have linked to your site from my site. I am just getting everything all set up…but I really wanted to link to some of my favorite websites/blogs. So your site just HAS to be listed!)
🙂
Thanks! He’s a Monster High Jackson Jekyll doll.
I have . . . never heard of those dolls!
o.O
I am horribly addicted to them. I received my first ones for Christmas and did my last Runway season with them. If you want to see them, most of them should be in my Flickr sets:

Your photo sets are AWESOME!
(I don’t have a Flickr account, anymore – or I would have commented.)
I have said it before…but I think that you are brilliant.
And. I will now be looking for Monster High dolls. I adore articulated dolls. I just went to look for the dolls on Amazon – and though they are more expensive than what one would pay at Big Lots, etc. – the prices of (some) of the dolls are low for fully articulated dolls like that.
So I will be on the lookout.
I had a blast looking through your photographs and the Amazon site, too.
How very fun!
The dolls have been hard to find on the shelves. I think people who work for Target, Walmart, etc., are buying them and reselling on eBay. I would HATE to be a kid right now wanting those dolls, because the Monster High sections are always bare.
However, you can occasionally find them at Big Lots, Odd Lots, and even here at our Walgreen’s and Kroger stores (previous season’s dolls). They are TOO HIGH online because of resellers. So annoying.
Resellers ruin the fun for everyone… I do feel bad for kids that want toys that become popular. I remember the same thing happened with the Cabbage Patch craze. And then with Beanie Babies, too!
I will take a look at our Big Lots. And Walgreen’s. Maybe I will get lucky, there.
I will *definitely* keep an eye out for a Monster High section! I don’t often go to Target…but I do go to Walmart. (Though I have never seen them in a Walmart. I would have remembered seeing them. The dolls are cute!)
I looked through your Flickr sets and there were a couple that I thought (based upon how they looked on Amazon) that I would not like them. But your photographs are SO cute!
Lagoona Blue is very, very cute. I love her eyes.
I have a really small articulated doll – but she is really hard to pose. It looks like these would work much better for that. You are doing an amazing job.
Though I cannot believe that I missed an entire season of your Runway photographs! o.O
YIKES!
Thank you again!
And also: brilliant (blush). Thank you.
It is a well-deserved compliment…but you are very welcome.
🙂
“Bonsai!” is one of the words I shout when performing a karate kick (badly). I’m PC like that.
That made me giggle because I remember many boys doing that exact same thing when horsing around.
