    1. My friend Jim’s golden retriever Striker is the only dog I’ve ever known who was indifferent to squirrels. For a time, Jim lived in the mountains and there was a wooden plank from a tree to his windowsill, where he left food for the squirrels. They’d sit on the window ledge and eat, with Striker on the other side of the glass, and he paid them no mind.

    1. No squirrels?!? I don’t think I knew that. Can’t imagine a world without squirrels. You do have lots of other cool animals, though, that I’ll never see outside of great photographs.
