The thing about turkey bacon

Papaya, pineapple, grapes, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and strawberries with one egg, a Tom-made biscuit, turkey bacon, and iced coffee. Actually, it’s better if you don’t call it “bacon.” Think of it as turkey breakfast strips or something similar. Because that word “bacon” provokes an expectation that no turkey can ever fulfill.

    1. I have a decent turkey meatloaf recipe. And turkey burgers on the grill aren’t so bad. Mostly I’ve learned to replace beef with ground turkey in my chili and spaghetti sauce, and in those two things, it really doesn’t matter because of all the seasoning.

      But in general, oh, I do love my beef. And will right up until I persuade myself to become a vegetarian.
