One of the things I most enjoyed about participating in 30 Days of Creativity was being introduced to other artists, bloggers, and creative types. Among my favorites: Plastic Animal A Day. June may be over, but I’ll return to that site to get my daily fix of whimsical photos. Though I by no means have PAAD’s skill at staging and photographing, I wanted to pay homage to the site and send a greeting from The Compound meerkats to all the animals of Plastic Animal A Day.
Not a cloud in the sky,
Happy Fourth of July!
What kind of weapon is that meerkat guard holding? It looks to be some sort of trident!
Yes. That’s what we grill with in Texas. A trident.
So, one meerkat gets all the food, while the Proletariat look on? I hope he uses that trident to liberate his people … wait.. I mean his meerkats.
Power to the Meerkats!
Thank you so much! I have a blast doing this blog. I have another blog where I go and photograph old buildings and industrial sites and it’s hard work. This one is fun and I can do it on my kitchen table.

I love the other blog, too. You find some great locations.
And I couldn’t see your picture earlier! It’s so cute and I love your meerkats!
Thanks!
Hey, maybe someday the Minerva Farm and The Compound meerkats can have a meet up.
Party!
I decided to check out what other artist were doing for 30 Days of Creativity and my eye went right to the Meerkat Cookout and to my surprise it’s you Becky. I’m beginning to think that fate has plans that we are unaware of. Keep creating, you make me smile.
Thank you! I’m glad it’s making you smile. =)
I wonder what happened to the rebellion
The revolution was not televised.
