I wish a safe and happy holiday to all those who celebrate. If your community allows fireworks this holiday, take special care for your pets’ safety. It’s not a happy night to be a skittish dog.
I took this shot of Minute when I was staying at Green Acres in June, knowing that I would use it on a July 4 post. She believes in life, liberty, and the pursuit of possums happiness.
But… what about the possums’ happiness? 😉
Minute says, “It’s the circle of life.”
Fireworks totally illegal here, so all the pyromaniacs are showing their independence by going out to the RED, white and blue rural areas and loading up with sundry explosives. Mlle. Renee is naturally very upset, so I have several radios playing in the house.
It’s so dry here that I hope the fireworkers don’t end up setting the state ablaze. Poor Renee–Margot understands completely.
Hope you all had a great day!
Thanks. =)
Both of my cats jumped up on the bed at the sound of firecrackers outside our apartment.
Poor kitties. I don’t like the sound of fireworks, either, though I do enjoy looking at them.
