I’d been expecting some materials to go with today’s 30 Days theme of “Plaid,” but they didn’t arrive, and I had no other creative projects ready or in progress. This is as plaid as it’s going to get.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

I am so glad that you don’t have raspberries in there. Blackberries and raspberries are mortal enemies. It would have been a juice bath.
The Chex are kinda plaid
I hesitate to tell you this, but there are raspberries in there. They’re not all strawberries.
then your bowl was not a happy place.
I didn’t even notice the plaid table cloth .. .breakfast looked too good.
My raspberries and blueberries come in peace. The Compound is a very enlightened community. Except for the occasional dog fracas.
I know that it’s all peace love and harmony at the compound — but you do not know how blackberry feels, trust me there is a war raging in that bowl.
The Chex are kinda plaid
You think? I thought only the cloth beneath them gave me the plaid theme.
Sorry, Chex aren’t plaid. They’re checkered. Before they were sold to General Mills, they got their name from the Ralston Purina checkerboard logo. The company headquarter’s here in Saint Louis was and still is called Checkerboard Square. Must do a trek to get a photo of that. I do like the table cloth.
BTW, Rice or Corn Chex? Wheat Chex are my favorite.
I suspect corn. But we pour them into a container from the box, so I’m not sure–and Tom’s usually the cereal buyer.
Corn Chex and it kinda makes me sad that you can’t tell the difference
Well, I said corn. I knew they weren’t wheat, but I’m not sure of the difference in appearance between corn and rice.
Yum breakfast. And healthy too!
