Today is the ultimate game for people from Alabama, including those of us transplanted to Texas. I graduated from Alabama, and Lynne’s an Auburn fan. So she and her crew, including Lila (above) are here watching the Iron Bowl with us.
My socks, Lynne’s coffee cup:
Lynne’s birthday is tomorrow, so I made her a cake–Auburn tiger and Crimson Tide elephant:
Regardless of who wins bragging rights for the next year, the cake will be good. Also: ROLL TIDE!
ETA: Final Score Auburn 28 Alabama 27
Lynne gets bragging rights. I think that should be her only present.
Can’t go wrong with cake! (and chick-fil-A)!
(Your tablecloth is still upside down???) 🙂
(I would have never noticed if you hadn’t said anything, but now that I know…..)
I did fix it before we ate dinner tonight. Trust me, if Tim hadn’t pointed it out, I’d never have noticed.
P.S. Only Lila got Chick-Fil-A. That was her lunch today. Lucky!
Chick-Fil-A best chicken biscuit’s anywhere … As for the football thing, sorry for your loss. My thoughts are sincere and have nothing to do with your Nigeria Money.
I can hear the sincerity dripping from your voice! As soon as they send me my 1.5 million, I will give you a dollar! Okay, maybe five.
1. Originally from Tennessee.
2. Didn’t go to college
See? I have no horse, tiger, elephant whatever in this race, so I AM BEING SINCERE!!!!
thanks for a wonderful day!
W A R E A G L E ! ! ! national championship here we come!
