I went to bed at a decent hour last night because I have an appointment today. I woke up at four AM (you know, eight hours before the appointment) and couldn’t go back to sleep.
But hey, I wrote IN MY HEAD for the four hours that I tried to go back to sleep. Should have just gotten up and written it for real.
It hasn’t rained here since the beginning of November, 2020. Before then, since April, 2020. The La Nina is seeing us back into drought if we don’t get any through the holidays and into January.
I am, however, routinely woken up around 1-1:30 AM for no good reason. I suspect there may be something to having apartments full of radio transmitters.
But honestly, I blame the stray cats.
If it were 3 AM instead of 1-1:30, I’d say that’s when the veil lifts that lets us communicate with the other side.
That’s why when I wake up at 3, I can’t go back to sleep because I don’t want to miss anything.
Your Monday statement sounds like a Carpenters song.
Yes, you might as well have done. I hope what you wrote in your head stayed in there long enough to write it down later in the day?
I’m still trying to write it. Yesterday was just a wash–too tired. But I WILL PREVAIL. =)
