My week so far is so without anything to post about that when I realized I was looking up lyrics to Enya songs yesterday and could put photos with them, I did NOT do it.
I expect some gratitude for this.
ETA: Note that while I’m encouraging your mockery here and on Facebook, I DO have at least a half-dozen Enya CDs and I LISTEN TO THEM. They are in my iTunes library. This counts as another confession. Internet, once you know my collection of flaws, will you still love me tomorrow?
Wait. Enya songs have lyrics? I thought it was just some kind of ethereal moaning. Then I fell asleep. Wow. Who knew?
I CAN still change my mind, you know. I’m sure I can find the perfect lyric just for you–something anti-evil, that will defeat you, The Rhonda.
My confession …I learned the words to Orinoco Flow because my secret crush wanted to go to every Continental destination mentioned in the song.
I give my love so sweetly …
Bwahahahahaaaaaa! OMG, You crack me up.
–eh hem–
I mean… how dare you taunt our friend like that! 😉
Oh, that is so funny!
Sometimes I’ll write down topics on my To Do List for material for my blog. They’ve come in handy later.
Now I’m going to post some Enya lyrics on my blog!
Or you can go to the Alanis Morissette lyric generator site and create your own lyrics…
I think I have the same number of Enya CDs! I’ve also have had awful and cruel people tease me for liking ABBA and The Carpenters. 😀 I would never argue with somebody who doesn’t like a given artist. However, I think some of the criticisms against some artists is absurd because it’s like complaining that a cat isn’t acting like a dog. Some artists have a certain style, and they do what they do. I’m not going to stamp my foot in frustration for not playing free form jazz because they’re a metal band. That’s what they do.
…and here, all I can talk about is my hair. We need to take up water ballet or something…
I have Enya.
I also listen to the soundtrack to “The Lord of the Rings.”
Here’s a rec — if you like Enya, try Sheila Chandra.
“Real World” with the song “Sacred Stones.” It’s like
an Indian Enya.
…seven weeks later…
I just listened to some samples of Sheila Chandra on iTunes. I think I’ll add her to my Christmas list! Thanks.
na laetha geal m’oige
It only took me seven weeks to say, “I have that!”
Enya
I am deeply disturbed 😉 LOL
Pictures + Music = happy
