In early 2000’s, I tried to rescue a record that turned out to be all moldy from an attic that “leaked” (read: might as well not have bothered having a roof, eh?). I bought a good record cleaner, which is all watery manual labor a kin to dishes in a sink, but specifically for records. (You pay ultra $$$ for the automatic ones that vacuum for those that just can’t clean dirt out of grooves with the bonus of hands-off, something you may need to clean all that vinyl).
What of Tim’s CDs?
It was a 12″ mix of gloria – laura branigan I was going to do restore for the memory of a deceased lover. I opted for the 7″ single instead, as I never found the mix. Sometimes ye ol’ record shop can do miracles.
Lordy. I just can’t imagine.
