The current tally is Jack — 6 8 11 12, Ornaments — 0. I figured I should get photos of a few more in case he turns his warmongering to our alma mater. Here are some of our older Bama ornaments and a couple of new houndstooth ones.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

I kinda hope Jack wins … only I don’t want him to get hurt on anything
I’m pretty fond of my ornaments. Especially the little angel from my mother that he apparently thought was the perfect size rope toy for a ten pound dog.
It’s never dull with Jack on the prowl.
Yikes! No wonder you have a fence around the tree …. but I am glad he is there for holiday, can you imagine how exciting it is to be in a safe place for the first time at Christmas … and to maybe have a special gift!
For example, I just found him with a cross-stitched ornament from Amy and a handmade ornament from Lisa S. I’m not amused at all. And they weren’t even hanging in low places. I think he’s climbing the damn tree.
perhaps there should be a Jack tree with things he can grab and there be no harm …
That’d just reinforce that it’s okay to grab things from trees. He wouldn’t know the difference between toys on a Jack tree and ornaments on a forbidden tree. It’s all just one big playground to Jack.
But it is okay to grab things from trees! There wouldn’t be oranges nor bananas nor walnuts nor wreaths if it weren’t okay to grab things from trees!
(Of course, it would be nice if we humans planted more than we’ve cut down, but that’s another story that ends in suffocation and intoxication.)
That reminds me. I need to find a little wreath. Photo of why coming soon.
Did you hang all of the ornaments on the upper branches – and have bare branches to the floor?
It certainly ended up that way. With Jack’s help.
