Seriously, have you ever used it in a conversation except to prove you can say it?
Epistemology…or… pseudepigrapha (ha! So good even spell checker ain’t got it. It’s a bit difficult to work into a regular conversation, though.)
Okay, number one, the guy who says “epistemology” on the “hear it” dictionary I went to sounds really cheerful that he can pronounce it. It’s one of those words that I know what it means but I’ve never actually said it. Probably because I wouldn’t sound as chipper as that guy.
Number two is a new one for me, though I have studied the Old Testament apocrypha.

Given my love of speculative fiction, it comes up now and then.
One of those words I never use in conversation because I know I’d be mocked for my accent.
