  1. And the smoke is crawling into the deserts, now that the strong winds from the north going south has stopped fanning the Palisades fire and smoke towards the pacific ocean.

    1. Regrettably, rather than address and put in place systems to deal with climate change, as we have been warned to tackle for decades, though some have tried, denial and disinformation spread more wildly than the impact of all natural disasters. Catastrophes abound. Insurance companies have been pulling out of areas most likely to be impacted by climate change. And future… “leadership” seeks only to cast blame on perceived enemies and lacks any compassion for those impacted. In my lifetime, no one in the highest elected office of this country, along with enablers, sycophants, and cronies, has ever shown fewer signs of even the most basic human kindness.
