Tiny Tuesday!

Today I chose this page from that coloring book.

And cut out a snowflake pattern free from Monday Mandala.com. I photographed it with a nickel to provide the size perspective.

Then, with some colored pencils, glittery gel pens, and even actual glitter and glue for the snowflakes, here’s how I followed this week’s “snow” theme today.

We’ll be celebrating Christmas and Tom’s birthday on Thursday instead of tomorrow on the 25th. I’ll still be posting daily. =) I was able to get our cards mailed yesterday, so they should start trickling in soon to family and friends.

  1. These colours of an impressionist snow!

It has so far been a very warm winter during the holidays this visit to Colorado. There hasn’t been any snowfall this visit. Pike’s Peak had strips of what was left from the Thanksgiving snowstorms I heard about from my parents. In mountains way across Denver, on my way to the Aunt’s families party, was where most of what was left of the snow.

The zoo and lights go well with these colors and snowflakes, when I remember last time when it was much colder and lots of snow around.

    Hot Chocolate and pie?

      1. It could be suggestions for a snowy themed week. The page here also made me think of being indoors (where it’s warmer) and looking through the frosty windows. That could be a cafĂ© or at home with the movies on. Hot chocolate, pie, cake, the lights, family events, the cold snowy indoors/outdoors, etc. all work together. Joyness…
