Last week, I shot this cluster of mushrooms outside our front gate. What I found most charming was the tiny bunch of them in the lower right.
Then I realized they were the perfect companions to add this little friend.
If that makes no sense to you, then you either never saw or have forgotten the badger-mushroom-snake song. You’re welcome.
There must be an atari
Playing with that song
Now there’s a company name I never think about that immediately prompts memories. Atari has a fascinating history in all its iterations and still licenses some of their classic games. I was never much of a gamer in any venue (or online), but I do remember playing a few early games in bars.
Look at you, growing ‘shrooms so openly!
I love badgers!
Ha ha! They were… volunteers? Is that an applicable term for anything that suddenly grows in your yard that you didn’t plant or in any way cultivate? Or is that just for flowering plants?
My absolute favorite “volunteer” was that gigantic tree of many sun flowers. We think one of the squirrels buried a full sun flower that collectively grew above the roof and thousand of not hundreds of flowers. It never happened again, though.
That sounds amazing!
