Tiny Tuesday!

Barbie and friends do a reenactment of me preparing to find fashion, dress skeletons, and post photos to social media (i.e., my Instagram account), with Lord Cuttlebone and his nephew Ambrose supervising (i.e., chattering unsolicited advice into my ear). Since the theme is set: a spooky season homage to music, WILL I HAVE ENOUGH T-shirts or band memorabilia to do the entire month of October? The Shadow knows…

I’ve put my first seven days of photos behind the cut, if you want to see the artists I’ve featured.

Kicked off the month with the Beach Boys and a special nod to my muse Dennis Wilson. (Song used: “California Girls.”)

Borrowed Timothy’s Rock Lobster T-shirt and let Ambrose make his own shirt in a tribute to The B-52’s. (Song used: “Rock Lobster.”)

Can never emphasize enough my love for California and L.A.’s own Red Hot Chili Peppers. (Song used: “Under The Bridge.”)

A little moodier day with Pink Floyd. (Song used: “Time.”)

Of COURSE we wouldn’t forget David Bowie, aka Major Tom. Ambrose even made his own mask.

(Song used: “Space Oddity.”)

Just like on this blog, October 6 is always dedicated to Eddie and the band Van Halen. Or Van Hagar. Any version will do because they BOTH have Eddie and Alex, the Van Halen brothers. Alex has a memoir coming out soon, Brothers. You can bet I’ll be reading it. (Song used: “Jump!”)

I’d forgotten that I meant to borrow Lynne’s concert t-shirts for this one, but no matter. I have several John Mellencamp buttons to celebrate him on his birthday! Rock on, John. (Song used: “Hand To Hold On To.”)

That’s week one! I haven’t put today’s post together yet. Hopefully, Barbie and the ghouls have some wisdom to offer.
