A beach–a storm-free beach, anyway–is to me one of the most calming places on earth. It just seems like Mary Poppins could help us out. =)
Having grown-up a ten-minute walk from the beach, I will always have an affinity for the coast.
I love looking at mountains and forests, but to feed my soul, there is nothing like a beach and its water. One of the loveliest things about Southern California is standing on the beach, turning from the water, and seeing mountains in the distance. Magnificent!
