Happy April Fool’s Day, and happy birthday to our friend Geri! I hope her day is full of mischief and celebration, if those are what she seeks.
Are you in a foolish mood in honor of the date? Did you know that Mercury goes retrograde today? I hope that planet doesn’t toy with you.
Today, instead of shenanigans, I have the first section of the seventh book in the Neverending Saga to edit: around 82 pages, so that I can pass it to my two readers for comments and criticisms. Then I’ll shift from this brooding character’s point of view to a more lighthearted character–lighthearted FOR NOW. Can’t be fiction without conflict!
I spent mine not at work but feeling yucky and sleeping most of that day in my dark apartment. My head is bothering me today, and I’m coughing more, but I’m making it through work, the day after yesterday that should have been a April Fool’s Day. That may have been safer.
Hope you’re now feeling better three days in to April.
I’m better today, as long as I don’t cough too much. That coughing can pull something in my head, and that can make headaches.
I got hit by a stomach bug last night. WHAT IS HAPPENING? 😉
Something similar hit a few coworkers this week as well, but they too recovered. One of my apartment neighbors has been sick this week as well. He thinks it might be covid or just a cold. I was coughing mainly at work as well, as if talking to a crowd of engineers was contagious! That particular building does need a good airing out and proper carpet vacuum cleaners. Also “valley fever” warnings from desert construction, and this week’s very strong winds, are suspected culprits.
Is Timothy one of your readers?
Not at this time. =)
