When I saw that theme, I was reminded of my last 35 mm camera’s last photo attempt. I was trying to get a picture of the duck on the water’s surface, but more of the view of the water’s surface from the perspective of the duck, not me standing on the creek well above the ground level.
And, then the camera suddenly flew out of my hands, into the water and short-circuited spectacularly.
If the lobella is the duck, but zoomed back a bit more, that’s about the angle I got to, but I’ll never really know.
Dang. Sorry about your camera’s plunge into the abyss.
Mum always had lots of lobelia.
Ha! Did I read that wrong from its tiny label? I corrected my spelling. Thank you! You can see that your mother, Timothy, and you far exceed me in plant knowledge.
American spellings are often different, so you may have been right!
I googled my misspelling and found no legitimacy for it anywhere. I was definitely wrong! 🤣
