The photo previously posted here was of the work Runaway Time by artist Eileen Williams. The work is fabric, wood, and mixed media.
It was really hard for me to choose from among Eileen Williams’s creations. You can see more of her work at eileen williams ART, with additional photos of her art and more about her process at Baker Artist Porfolios.
this reminds me of the song Time by Culture Club a good thing
Culture Club is always a good choice. You’re baaaack! And that’s a good thing, too. =) The title is Run Away Time, but it called to mind at least a couple of songs for me, too, Chicago’s “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” and Coldplay’s “Clocks”–oh, and even a song written by a certain character of mine sometime in the real-life 1980s. =)
At the time, I was waiting for the train, but I didn’t have the time, when it finally came.
This reminds me of a short story I once wanted to write–it was, of all things, about time travel. You seem to prompt this as a recurring theme for me.
Time travel without the protection of a TARDIS does have its consequences. A speeding ticket in the middle of a stormy night was suspiciously avoided, and the flaming tire marks dodged burning down the house that same night.
And, I’m not even in your time zone.
