Most particularly, Thin Mints. What’s your favorite?
Today is National Girl Scout Day, and as the Internet reminds me, scouting isn’t just about the cookies, but that “These little entrepreneurs teach young girls essential skills such as business, leadership, and community service.” Let’s hear it for girls and an organization run by women for women.
Today is also the birthday of my talented, funny, smart, hardworking nephew Josh. To be his aunt is one of the joys of my life. Happy birthday, Josh!

I prefer real, all natural, just done baking chocolate chip cookies. Or, in a pinch, I go for double stuffed oreos, but they seem to get stuck to my teeth!
I don’t care for popcorn either, especially the hulls.
Chocolate bars sans pgpr are better fundraisers.
Homebaked Toll House cookies are the best! I’m a popcorn fanatic, however. =)
I’ve gone organic I only eat them if they are made out of real Girl Scouts … thank you Addams Family
These days, Girl Scout Cookies aren’t even made by Girl Scouts.
They stopped doing so completely in 1936, and I can’t imagine the liability if they still home-baked them.
