May 1 is National Lemonade Day. I believe that you can tell from My Bottle to my lemon-slice PJ bottoms that I’m a fan. (Yesterday it was same bottle, pink lemonade.)

Huh, I would have guessed a Lenonade Day would be around the street festivities like Memorial Day, PRIDE, and Independence Days.
Another source says it’s August 20. I don’t know what the differences are.
Do you make your own lemonade?
I tried some pink lemonade when I was in Las Vegas in 1998. OMG. It was the sweetest thing I have ever tasted – like diluted syrup. I could only manage a few sips and had to give up.
I don’t make my own lemonade so that I don’t have to use sugar–I use Crystal Light packets because they easily adapt to bottles of several sizes, and I don’t mind the artificial sweetener. TOO SWEET LEMONADE IS GROSS. Sounds like maybe they made it from a syrup. Lemonade should be just sweet enough to enjoy, but its tartness is its appeal to me.
