It’s actually very difficult to hear music while swimming. The current technology of wireless headphones might survive surfing but you still have to have the player source in range, say in my shorts, which will probably be difficult to swim in. Some people tried to invent speakers in swimming pools, but that just might reduce the tension, never mind the surprise of being eaten while trying to recall the number of laps left to swim. Keeping that number in my head is hard enough, as my mind drifts into a dreamy musical scene from the Muppet Caper… Shark!! No, I just banged my head into the wall again.
Swimming is hazardous.
