Currently in my manuscript, The Manager is giving thought to security for an artist/band he represents.
When Lynne came last week, she made a donation that once belonged to her son. In 1993, this was a doll an action figure offered by Hasbro: Guile, a character from the Street Fighter II video game.
Immediately I knew he could be security, but that hair just would not work for me.
I began with less military-style boots, and the loss of the dog tags and that ridiculous low-cut tank. They were replaced by a shorter boot and a softer, less-is-more shirt.
Ultimately, he got a wig that I styled many different ways in an attempt to cover up the landing pad formerly known as his hair. The year is 1974, so I figured a thick head of hair pulled into a ponytail would do.
Still sporting the Kung Fu grip characteristic of GI Joes. You may think his hair is goofy, but you probably wouldn’t say so to his face.
