HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LISA, AMY, and SHAWN!
I forgot to say I sent the rest of my holiday cards out earlier this week! I DID IT! I mailed them all before Christmas, in five batches, I think.
THIS IS HOW I DEFY 2020. I do something right that I haven’t done right in years.
It was not without glitches. I’m pretty sure some will come back to me because the addresses were outdated. There were a couple of people I’ve reached out to for new addresses who never responded. I’ve been trying to reach one old friend via email all fall and haven’t heard back. Missed communications are not the end of the world. We’ll connect sooner or later, I hope. =)
To send out with the cards, I wrote a letter and printed it on holiday paper. On the last print job using up the paper, I put the paper in the printer wrong, so the candy canes are upside down. That’s so… 2020, after all, isn’t it?
Thank you Becky. I am amazed that you can remember my little birthday all these years later. Thank you for the card. I love receiving them from the people I love. You and Debby are amazing women in my life. I am so thankful for you both.
I’m so glad that’s still your address! I hadn’t used it for a while, I think.
I’m thankful for you, my sister and friend, and I love you.
If you can do it this year, you can do it next year too! You have eleven months to write next year’s cards…
Okay, you can be my alarm. Beginning October 25, you can say, “JUST START WITH FIVE RIGHT NOW!”
Love you Becky!
