Tom and I have been married 32 years today, and pretty much everyone forgot it except my in-laws who are a million times better than I am about remembering celebrations like this, so I fault no one else for forgetting. =)
Tom and I didn’t forget however, and we are still doing just fine with him working from home and me writing. I am not making fast progress on the second book in the series, but I’m making progress. About to have two wedding chapters coming up–seems timely!
Here’s a Throwback Thursday photo.
Forget wedded bliss, let’s celebrate those Mullets!
I’m assuming you mean his. Mine was not a mullet. I have no party in the back–unless you’re seeing the shadows– because I was burning up in the mall one day and walked into a salon and asked for a haircut. When the stylist found out I was getting married soon, she begged me not to make her cut my long hair. She was afraid I’d regret it.
I did not.
the ghost of mullets past?
Apparently I’ve lived many lives I don’t remember.
Where have the years gone? And can we get any of them back?
Mother might say, as she once said about missing socks, they’ve snuck into the closet and become wire hangers. Check your hangers. You may find some of your favorite years there. =) Pull them out for good memories, adventures, funny stories, and mishaps that turned out okay.
But whatever you do, when 2020 is over, leave it in the farthest corner of the damn closet holding that shirt you never liked and won’t wear.
Happy Anniversary to you both. That is quite an accomplishment. Love to you both.
Thank you! We love you, too. =)
