A page from my copy of Keri Smith’s Wreck This Journal:
Just a few precious drops remain of the only perfume I’ll still use (this bottle has been with me since 1994).
Back when I used to wear fragrances, I was never able to buy myself more than small bottles of Chanel N° 5 cologne. I’ve received only two bottles of this more expensive version of Chanel N° 5 perfume in my life, and I can only say that both relationships with those givers ended so, so badly.
Lesson: I buy my own next bottle of the good stuff.
