I saw photos and videos of many moving commemorative ceremonies throughout Europe today because Armistice Day is 11.11.
Regarding Trump, I apologize to my friends across the pond and share a collection I made of people who would not have let bad weather deter them. Any of them would have been out there with your countries’ leaders and members of the monarchy if they were in office today. They truly respect(ed) veterans and the service members we’ve lost in the battles that scarred so many of your beautiful countries, and several of them served in the armed forces themselves.
