Y’all, this is Daisy, and you can tell that’s me rubbing her under her chin by my tattoo (thanks, Ash, as always, for taking over my camera when I need you to). Her foster mom Jennifer is holding her. Jennifer is the one who found Daisy and gave her a safe place and provided medical care and love, so much love, while our rescue team worked to find rescue for her. Several of us donated funds for her, because we all wanted her to find a home so much.
She traveled today. More than anything in the world, I hope to hear soon that her forever family has found her and she’ll have the home she deserves. I want this especially for Jennifer, whose love for Daisy will live on.
Some transport Thursdays, letting go is hard.
I have had a couple of e-mails from RPM. Are things going okay there?
Very well, thanks! It’s been a tough summer due to shelter illnesses, but we’re still transporting plenty of healthy animals out of here.
Nice one. I was concerned they may have funding issues, so that’s good to hear.
