Here are offerings from the grounds of Houndstooth Hall.
There are plants that came with us from The Compound, too.
Everything is keeping the bees busy.
The dogs are enjoying nature, too. Sometimes, they’re enjoying it a little too much. If we’re keeping score, it’s
Hounds: 2
Squirrels: 0
and
Hounds: 2
Birds: 0
The latest fatality was yesterday, when I found Anime on the office couch with a dead bird bigger than her head. I disposed of the bird (RIP), then texted Tom.
Tom: It’s fu*king Wild Kingdom.
Me: It ain’t Disney.
Minute wants in on the action!!!! Go DOGS!!!
That Minute…
Gorgeous flowers, but I think you need some plumeria and honeysuckle… and you know we are team dog!
Thanks! Definitely can’t do the honeysuckle–allergic.
You need an oleander tree! I love the flowers. I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to start planting flowers.
Third shot down–that’s oleander. There are at least two. I’ll tell them you are their champion! (I’d be willing to bet the one at The Compound is gone. Every single other tree and shrub except the azaleas–gone.)
Molly celebrated by treeing a stray cat near the Town of Mosaic.
Molly is a wild thang. =)
Nice flowers! Today we had temps near freezing and the only things springing up are the weeds. Thankfully, the only things that Mlle. Renee kills are snakes.
Thanks! Renee is a lovely peaceful creature who could teach the HT hounds a thing or two.
Your fingers are getting greener!
I don’t think our two have actually managed to catch anything yet. They just chase – and Poppy barks.
The other day Anime brought a live mouse inside. Tom captured and released.
