What?!? It’s Doris Day’s birthday? Time to bust out my favorite DD flick.
Happy 91st to her, and to honor her many years of animal rights activism and rescue, I’m making an extra donation to the rescue group I work for.
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

Enh, I never get too worked up about him one way or another. He sorta doesn’t register, but that’s because he’s after my time, probably. Then again, she’s before my time. But I don’t hold it against her that she’s a Republican, either. Qué será será.
My first reaction when I heard it was Ms. Day’s birthday was “She’s still alive?” My second was “Good for her!” I would say my favorite of her movies is “The Man Who Knew Too Much”.
Just quoted her song from that. That movie was in a little different vein for her, wasn’t it? Apparently Hitchcock was quite pleased with her acting, though.
91st? Blimey. Good for her.
I can’t imagine!
Pillow Talk is my favorite Doris Day movie, too. (I was in a production of it during high school.) 🙂
91. What a lovely accomplishment.
She’s made those years count, for sure.
