It’s been six years since I featured Langston Hughes on a Button Sunday (also February 1, because it’s his birthday). He’ll always be one of my favorite poets. I see one of his poems every day near my desk. In fact, it was one of the first things I unpacked. (Still working on the unpacking thing, by the way.)
Do hold fast to your dreams.
Well that poem on your desk made me cry. Good work Langston!
It is a beautiful and powerful little poem. I think it’s been on one desk or another since 1993.
