cuddle up with a good dog, watch old movies and snooze
After spending part of my childhood years in England, one would think I would have some pretty awesome ideas for what to do on a rainy day, right? right? Well, rainy days make me anxious for sunny days, if I don’t get a change-of-weather headache. So, I would make indoor tents with bed sheets, turn up the stereo, play around with a train set, watch 1 of 3 (then came 4, at the risk of aging myself) TV channels, stare out the window wishing the rain would go away so that I could ride my bike to the park under more pleasant circumstances, drive my parents crazy with hyperactivity (though, honestly, what else is there to do?), still wish the rain would go away, call friends on the phone, we all wish the rain would go away, get coats on and go to the YA, play pool, board games, etc, or get coats on and go to friends house instead.
Then, I discovered computers and Pac-Man on the Atari console.
Curl up under my blankie in my recliner with Stewie on my feet and read!
Renee and I agree with Marika! As a matter of fact, that’s what we’ve done today. Only we’ve been on the home shopping network watching all the new slicer/dicers and magic can openers. Never buy, just watch.
bake or sew or other projects that require inside time; because i’d much rather be outside in the sun
