Tomorrow will be the first day of fall, my favorite season. We don’t really get the glorious color changes in our part of Texas, but at least they are vivid in my memory.
It is the summer’s great last heat,
It is the fall’s first chill: They meet.

Happy Autumnal Equinox!
Fall is my favorite time of the year also. I enjoy the cooler temperatures, blue skies and lower humidity. The lack of rainfall this summer will definitely be a factor in whether or not the leaves turn their usual glorious colors. The colors are always glorious in my mind.
The imagination is a wonderful thing, isn’t it? =)
You guys get the autumnal equinox on a different day to us because of time zones. Ours is in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
I was going to write you an unrelated comment, but now I think I’ll turn that into what makes me happy today, instead. Stay tuned.
What do you think you’re doing, falling off the tree like that. Get back up there! Please? Pretty please? Awww….
In other news, we went color hunting this weekend. I think we got out just at they were turning, but the rains came.
NOT FAIR–as a certain diva would sing, “Don’t rain on my parade.”
