On the season finale of Lifetime’s Project Runway All Stars, the last three designers were taken to the United Nations headquarters, where they met with delegates from their countries of origin. These countries were to inspire their final collections. In addition, they were asked to add a seventh look that would incorporate a scarf from a wall of scarves representing countries from around the world.
I didn’t get to go to the U.N. or meet a delegate from my country of origin. Does Alabama count? Actually, I decided to take my pick from my English, Scottish, and Irish heritage. I checked out some current Irish fashion designers. When I learned that their runways were filled this year with bold fabrics, including florals paired with clashing prints, animal inspired prints, lace, and the color pink, I knew I’d found my people.
Here’s how that turned out for Catrine DeMew.
And for Venus McFlytrap.
And for Howleen Wolf.
And for GiGi Grant.
And for Catty Noir.
And for Draculaura, whose look incorporates the scarf.
And for Rochelle Goyle.
Thanks for sticking with me throughout this season. The Monsters say goodbye until next time!
From Mattel: shoes and purses, Howleen’s beanie, Venus’s stockings, Rochelle’s socks, and Draculaura’s tights. Scarf used for Draculaura’s tank top from a Harumika kit. Catrine DeMew’s and Rochelle Goyle’s belts by Becks. Venus McFlytrap doll gift of Lynne. Catty Noir doll gift of Marika.

Nice collection. Congrats on all the effort you put into it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to force myself to actually watch PRAS on TV. It ranks a little lower than the Golden Globes on my viewing schedule.
Thanks very much.
I was very happy with a Seth Aaron win – although I think that is a total lackluster season on the tv – not here.
Those are some real bold fabrics there, and to me it seems to have a real 60’s feel again – but I couldnt say why maybe the flowers I have to give it to the Cats on this one. i really love Catrine and Catty are my favorites.
Glad you found some looks to enjoy.
Wow, what a collection! Lovely!
Thanks, Laurel. =)

My favorites are the first one, Draculaura’s and Rochelle Goyle. They make me want Spring to return.
Thanks very much. Spring is just around the corner!
What a great final collection!!! I’m with Marika. Catrine’s and Catty’s looks are my faves. The purple (my favorite color) & the flowers reminiscent of daisies (my favorite flower) really do it for me in Catrine’s dress. While I am not usually a fan of a lot of pinks, there’s just something wonderful about Catty’s dress. I think it is the flowers. And Draculaura’s tights–Fabulous!!!!
Thanks very much, Gary. Glad you enjoyed the looks. (Can’t take any credit for Draculaura’s tights, other than putting them on her. I wish I had more tights from Mattel!)
I particularly like Catrine DeMew’s floral number – fab for spring! Rochelle Goyle’s jacket is just right for daytime wear for a girl about town!
You’re so clever and talented with your dolls’ clothes, Becky. I do think you should find a gallery/cafe/bookstore to display them.
Maybe one day I’ll have a doll museum as Anne Rice once did. Maybe if I had some bestselling novels and sold their movie rights?
Thanks for the praise. Much appreciated. =)
