Current Photo Friday theme: Autumn 2013
Fall in Houston looks exactly like summer in Houston. But I thought I’d go by the Houston Arboretum in Memorial Park in case they have any trees that change colors even before the temperatures drop. Of course, today is the one day the arboretum is closed, because tomorrow is the ArBOOretum Fall Festival.
So this is what I got–and what you get. Happy Autumn!
Should I send you a bag of yellow and red leaves that you can tape to your trees?
No, thanks! I appreciate the thought, though!
Are you going to go ? I imagine it will BOO-TIFUL
Probably not because I have another event to attend tomorrow. We’ll see.
I’m planning to go to a local Rocky Horror Picture Show (with audience participation) tomorrow; a toast! I haven’t been to one in years.
This month, I’ve been following a different sort of 30 days (plus 1) of creativity, where this weekend features a Reaper on the bumper cars.
I noticed they have a big Rocky Horror event planned tonight at our local theater. I’m sure it’ll be fun!
I love that link! Thanks.
What a shame the arboretum was closed. The swines! Autumn and spring are my favourite seasons – the transitional seasons. Autumn can be so colourful here.
They are my favorites, as well, but spring here is much more dramatic than fall. We basically go from summer to all the leaves falling off, without much show in between.
The closed arboretum just gives me a reason to go back another time!
