September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day. From the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) web site:
Light a candle near a window at 8 PM to show your support for suicide prevention, to remember a lost loved one, and for the survivors of suicide.
Tonight, a candle burns in our window for our nephew Aaron, who died on April 25, 2012. We love you and miss you, Aaron.
*big hug*
Thank you very much, Mark.
thank you very much, as well.
You’re welcome. I know you miss him profoundly.
Thank you Becky for remembering my wonderful son today and every day, for loving him and bringing him joy, for the many days of laughter he received in the hands of the Cochrane family, for the hugs, but today for remembering that Aaron was and is loved and remembered.
Always was, always will be loved and remembered. He was here with us less than nineteen years, but Aaron filled our hearts with so much love and joy that it will outlast every boundary of time and place. Thank you and David for giving us such a beautiful soul.
