Hard not to remember where Tim, Tom, and I were this time last year. I miss this boy and his speckled toes.
Rexford G. Lambert
Friday we were talking at Craft Night about how Pixie has matured in the last year. I used to say, “Pixie never has a bad day.” And she still doesn’t, but she has accepted the role of alpha dog in Tim’s household, and it makes her a little more serious. She’s growing up. Rex would be proud of her. He’d tell Penny to stop being afraid of the water cooler.
And he’d tell Tim to take him for a ride in the car, please. Can we go now? How about now? Now seems like a good time!
He was a good dog. He still makes me smile.
Good dogs live forever in our memories. And Mlle. Renee asked if Tim would come and take her for a ride.
I’m sure they’d get along very well!
They sure do steal our hearts – and we are so lucky that they do. That Rexford G. Lambert was one very awesome dog-person-child.
You’re right. We’re lucky. And he was awesome. I’m with Tim–I like to think he and Buddy are running pain-free and happy together.
Also, I love your Jake avatar!
I miss Rex and always will. That little kangaroo was, at his core, a good dog and full of personality.
He was indeed. He sure loved when y’all came to The Compound, too. Sugar was the first dog of a size he could play with. (Though he totally didn’t get her laser pointer obsession.)
