Congratulations. You win an unpaid trip to the destination of your choice! John Calvin, represented by the character Calvin, personifies the first of John Calvin’s five major theological doctrines, “Total Depravity.” Thomas Hobbes, represented by Hobbes, illuminates Calvin’s depravity with his rationalistic thought. More than you wanted to know, but I rarely get to show off my theological education for which I paid a great deal of money.
Speaking of anthropomorphosis – I wrote a story, once, titled My Life as a Raindrop. Actually, I wrote several. Each time, I, as the raindrop, landed in a different place leading to a different ending. It was quite fun.
I miss Calvin and Hobbes
Me, too.
Low info trivia quiz! From whence does the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip derive its name?
John Calvin and Thomas Hobbes
There is nothing like a smart cartoonist. Except smart friends. 😉

When it helps us understand the Calvin/Hobbes dynamic, it can be counted as money well spent!
Thank you for that! Now it all makes sense!

Your own Choose Your Own Adventure series! I can see how a raindrop would have all kinds of places to go and things to see.
I definitely will have to use anthropomorphize in an upcoming post when you’re not looking.
I think Renee would say that you anthropomorphize daily. Four out of four Compound dogs agree. 😉
