I’m posting ONE last photo, I promise, because I wanted to share the picture that went out with our cards this year. Thanks, Lindsey and Rhonda, for wrangling dogs and managing cameras to get this shot for us. Merry Christmas from The Compound!
Who goes there? Please leave comments so (An Aries Knows)!

It’s a good photo. Thanks for including us. My daughter, the family English Lit major and the most voracious reader I’ve ever known, has ACC now. It was nice to have a face to go with the book and all the WHS stories she’s heard throughout her life. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Thank you! I hope she enjoys the book–she and I have the English major-voracious reader thing in common. Thank you for being part of our extended family and friends, and for the friendship. Wishing the best for you and yours in 2013!
Oh! While we were in W– for Christmas, my sister said she had told Keelie M. (they are friends; I think Kathy kept Keelie’s kids when they were very young) that you’d named your main character in ACC after her. Even though we were grades apart, of course Keelie remembered you, and felt so honored. Just thought you’d like to know your secret is out.
I love that she knows! Thanks.
Definitely a good one for the cards!
Thank you very much!
A beautiful picture.
I haven’t been able to respond to your comment on LJ, but I am still waiting for the post to deliver some Christmas greetings. I had two from the States on New Year’s Eve! They’re no less appreciated when they do arrive, though.
Wacky international mail. I LOVED your card with Scruff and Poppy. SO CUTE.
Thanks! Poppy will NOT be still! I’m going to do one for Chris’ birthday in February.
The worst thing is trying to get shots of them with yourself using a timer. They turn around and look at you because they have no reason to look at the camera.
It’s a lovely photo – thanks for sending one with your card. 🙂
Thanks! And you’re welcome. =)
