I have often considered turning my house into a Rainbow Confection, but then I realized it would be right before I’d be run out of West Walnut Manor on rail.

This house is close to our downtown. Here’s another story about how it came to be. I don’t know if the property hasn’t sold, or if the buyer doesn’t yet have the money to develop it, but for now, the house stands as art.

I believe I’d seen the cover of The Big Orange Splot before–but this is my first awareness of the “Daniel Pinkwater” name. Appears I have some books to explore.

It was done so long ago and was meant to be temporary until the property was sold, when the house would presumably come down. I think maybe the downturn in the real estate market kept it alive a few more years.
