How nice that the beach beauties were in true blue hue in keeping with the theme. True confession time … I never saw an Elvis movie.
Oh my gosh, for real? How is that possible? They weren’t exactly the pinnacle of filmmaking, but I LOVED them when I was a kid. The same way I loved Debbie Reynolds or Doris Day movies–or even the non-animated Disney movies.
Silly? Yep. Bring it!
Does that mean you don’t like the animated ones?
I loved The Shaggy DA, Hot Lead and Cold Feet was a fave of mine, and of course The Ugliest Dachshund.

My favorite Elvis, although I am fond of Frankie and Johnnie too
You know it does not mean that at all. Disney animated movies are in a class by themselves, and I never find them cheesy or dated. The only Disney animated movie I never really cared for was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I like darker versions of that story. My favorite is Sleeping Beauty.
The Ugly Dachshund and That Darn Cat are two of my favorite non-animated Disneys.
Oh. I think my favorite Elvis might have been Follow That Dream. Is that the one where the two boys have to share a single candy bar all the time?
My very favorite Elvis movie is Frankie and Johnnie.
🙂
The only Debbie Reynolds’ movie I didn’t fall asleep in was Singing In The Rain.
I might fall asleep watching them now. But Little Becky loved just about any movie that was lighthearted, even if it was beyond silly. I mostly remember her for the Tammy movies.
I do love your Elvis doll.
This scene is sooooo cute.
I have always been a HUGE Elvis fan.
This tribute is great!
🙂
Thank you very much, Cari!
