Today’s theme from 30 Days of Creativity is “8 Bit.”
The Ram lets the kids kick it old school during a break from filming Super Mario Brothers.

Thanks to Tom for the props, because I didn’t know “8 Bit” from an interdimensional hole that could take me to an alternate universe where dinosaur descendants rule and plumbers are heroes. On second thought, plumbers are heroes in this dimension, as well.
Have never played a video game in my life, but I would have recognized Mario Mario anywhere! And I hate to confess that I actually liked the movie, even though it was rated as the sixth worse movie based on a video game. I didn’t know what 8-bit was either, so I created my own theme for today.
Coming up with your own theme and a way to represent it is creating twice! =)

Mario and Sonic must be amongst the most recognisable video game characters ever – and I don’t play video games!
I don’t either, so this one was a challenge. Good thing Tom saved the day–and that there was at least one movie based on an older video game.

Thanks! Just going to that site was a blast from the past! I realized I had played some of those video games when they were in bars–Asteroids, Donkey Kong, and of course, Pacman. I’d forgotten all about those days.
