NEVERMORE …
Lenore!
Quoth the hummingbird!
Do you know what is fun about this? you have no idea about anything with Firefly – but you managed to pick the perfect word “Lenore is the robotic barbie doll wife of Mr Universe..” and she kinda helps save the universe. and yours is an evil laugh!
No way is MINE an evil laugh. That’s Lenore the Wasp talking. In prose form:
“My name is Lenore,” the wasp said. “I am a petty thief,” she added as she took a long drink of nectar.
As long as she was there, no birds would come near the feeder.
“Because of me, hummingbirds fly thirsty. HA HA HA! Mine is an evil laugh.”
Don’t hang Lenore’s vile behavior on me.
Dear Lenore,
I am sorry that you have gotten such a bad reputation, sure you have a mighty sting, but people overlook how you help control other buggy population, and with the recent decline of the honeybee population, your role as a pollinator has increased in importance. Plus humming birds are freaking annoying.
keep the faith and rock on Lenore, mine is an evil laugh too!
M
I am not surprised you would take Lenore’s side. You nemesises stick together. I’ll bet Lenore takes one look at a pretty little hummingbird at the feeder and says, “I WILL NOT HAVE IT!”
STAY STRONG SISTER!
That IS pretty petty. Good story. And typical of wasps.
Thanks. They really aren’t very nice. Especially when someone wants to photograph hummingbirds.
She’s a mean one, that Lenore. I hope she leaves soon so you can get some hummingbird photos!!!!
Thanks!
