I like the crosswalk, it makes it seem like there’s a lot of car traffic …
OR .. .the mouse and the Motorcycle!
They would disturb the peace. Can’t have those mice being a badass element in the halcyon chipmunk neighborhood.
But Ralph was sweet in his bad assery.
I love the Magnetic Poetry, but what about the story behind the Chipmunk Crossing? OK, I’ll admit it … I make sure to visit your blog every day to see the photos you post with the poems.
I’m glad you do; thanks! This was a bit of whimsy among the many exhibits at Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman, Alabama, that Lynne and I saw on our visit in early August. Among all the religious scenes and shrines, it was an amusing nod to the natural. And we did actually see some chipmunks cavorting among the saints.
Must tell my sister-in-law about that. They’re planning on driving down to Florida again next spring and they like to take unusual side trips.
St Simon was cavorting with Alvin and Theodore? FOR REALS? DID YOU GET A PICTURE?
I simply love that!
Thanks!
